    Roy Lyle Phillips, 75, died in Billings, Montana, March 30, 2021. Born October 24, 1945, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, he was one of five children of Jack, Sr. and Vera (Edwards/Walters) Phillips. The family moved to Thermopolis in 1957 where Roy attended school. He joined the U S Navy when he was 17. Following his discharge he worked at various jobs in Hot Springs State Park, Meadowlark Lodge, and cowboying for Friday Rathbun.
