The Swinging Bridge in Hot Springs State Park is getting new decorative lights. The public is invited to a Flip the Switch event on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Lower Terrace Shelter. The Thermopolis Town Council met for its second regular monthly meeting on October 21. Stephanie Boren appeared and requested that the council allow fireworks to be used at the last regular season home football game at Leroy Hayes Field on Friday, October 26 and at the home playoff game on October 31.
