The Hot Springs County Republican Precinct Caucus will be held Saturday, March 14 at 9 a.m. at Big Horn Federal in the meeting room. Registered Republicans in HSC are invited to attend. The Hot Springs County local chapter of Kiwanis is officially ending its national membership and for the next two years, it will donate its remaining funds to scholarships. President Frank Toth said that the chapter has struggled for many years to gain new memberships and the group’s ages have increased. Hot Springs County Airport is one of 10 Wyoming airports that will be receiving a portion of $7.2 million designated by the U.S Department of Transportation for airport safety and infrastructure. Kirby Ditch Irrigation District recently received notice they have been awarded funding for their lower reach piping project from the Bureau of Reclamation as part of more than $40 million in grant funds going to 54 water projects across the West.
