Madeline Wagler received first place and $300, Cadence Steadman was second receiving $200 and Lee Grimm was third receiving $100.     Dusty Lewis and his outdoor adventure business called Rent Adventure are preparing for the coming summer season. Lewis said, “We had a super busy year last year.” Last year in July they had almost 500 customers in that month and in August just a little less than that. Morgan Slover received gold in Proficiency Awards for Animal Systems Agriscience.     At the Hot Springs County Commissioners meeting on April 6, Nate Messenger provided the FBO Monthly Airport report and said that March was good with 138 total recorded operations at the new county airport, of which four were air ambulances and six were aircraft overnight.     The Hot Springs County Coronavirus 19 task force is reporting a grand total of 2,459 doses of COVID-19 vaccine given in Hot Springs County. Of those, 1,231 are first Moderna doses, 1,060 are second Moderna doses and 168 are Johnson and Johnson vaccinations.     Hot Springs County Road and Bridge Supervisor Shane Rankin provided information on how speed limits are determined on county roads and elsewhere.
