The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department is planning on holding their Independence Day fireworks show on Monday, July 4, according to Chief Mark Collins. The show will start just after it becomes dark. The show should last between 15 to 25 minutes and they will shoot off from atop T-Hill. A cookie jar auction fundraiser will be held Saturday, July 9 for Jessica Power and her preemie twins, Kimber and Colt. It will begin at 6 p.m. at the HSC Fair Building. In mid April, Jessica’s blood pressure spiked and after being transported to a Billings hospital the twins were born via c-section on April 16.
