The Heroes Have No Limits 5K and kiddie dash obstacle course fundraiser for Teige Owsley is set for Saturday, June 18 in Hot Springs State Park. The kiddie dash obstacle course will be on the lawn near the Pioneer Home beginning at 9 a.m. The 5K will start at 9:30 a.m. Children are welcome to do the 5K with adults or they may stay at the obstacle course which will be supervised by adults. This weekend, proceeds from a yard sale hosted by Kim Enis will go to Relay for Life. Enis explained she typically has a big sale at the armory, with donations from the town, but it got to be a bit much. Get ready for the Running with the Buffalo race set for Saturday, June 11. Participants will start on the street outside the TePee Pool and runners will trek through the buffalo pasture and back towards the start. There will be both a 4K run/walk and an 8K run, making it possible for people of all ages to participate.
