    People for People will be hosting their annual Christmas dinner on Sunday, Dec. 25 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.     Over the past few weeks, a few lucky individuals have gotten a bit of a bonus to their holiday budgets during the 21 Days of Christmas event when a total $1,000 in Chamber Bucks was given out.   • Senior center plans New Year's get together

    Hot Springs County’s senior citizens won’t have to miss out on the fun of the “ball drop” with the Ring in the Noon Year celebration at the Senior Citizens Center. On Friday, Dec. 30 from 11:30 a.m. til 1 p.m., they will be having their own New Year’s celebration by ringing in the “Noon Year” during lunch, complete with their own ball drop, just like New York City. The meal that day is a center favorite, fried chicken, and sparkling cider will also be served for a New Year’s toast....
