  • Cinnamon roll orders being taken

    The Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center is currently taking orders for cinnamon rolls. Executive Director Chanda Waddell said the rolls will be made on two Saturdays — March 4 and 11 — and Monday, March 13. Orders must be in at least a day prior to the “bake days.” This means orders must be in by Friday March 3 for the March 4 bake day and by Friday, March 10 for both the March 11 and 13 bake days.     Adiposse-WYTU, a sub-chapter of the Wyoming Trout Unlimited group, did a clean up of the Bighorn River on Saturday from the Wedding of the Waters to the Kirby Ditch access area. The group had a total of seven boats on the river pulling up all sorts of trash, from old tires to beer cans, 55-gallon drums to lost fishing equipment, enough to nearly fill a dump truck donated by Big Horn Ready Mix.     Last weekend, the Bobcat Robotics teams Fist Full of Axles and Aluminati travelled to Casper to compete in the Wyoming State Championship. Aluminati was seated in 22nd place, while Fist Full of Axles was seated at 16th.     Hot Springs County’s 4-H is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Chili Dinner and Dessert Auction on Saturday, March 11.
