The Hot Springs County High School Drama Team competed in the Wyoming State Drama Competition this past weekend in Laramie, taking fourth place overall in the 3A category. Mary McGillivray, the High School Drama coach, said, “I was very proud of the work the students did, not only at State but also leading up to State. Ten schools are preparing to converge on Hot Springs County High School this Saturday for the annual Bobcat Invitational Speech Tournament. “I am very excited to see this many schools coming here,” coach Cindy Glasson said. “It’s a lot of work getting things ready, but so worth it for these kids.” While the Bobcats don’t actually participate in the tournament, they organize and run it, it is an excellent opportunity for them to see what goes into a tournament and gives them some insight into what they will be up against come January.
