A series of stargazing and solar viewing programs beginning Friday, Aug. 18 are featured at Boysen State Park during the Great American Eclipse weekend. All programs will take place at the Tough Creek Campground and Lakeside Area. The open enrollment period for new students at Ralph Witters Elementary will be Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 9-11 a.m. at the elementary school office. The enrollment is for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. To enroll, students must be age 5 by Sept. 15, 2017. Parents should bring with them birth certificates and shot records.
