    The Hot Springs County School Board met on August 21for their regular monthly meeting. The board took up a number of matters, including resignations by board member, Justin Budd and maintenance/custodial director Jared Jeffs. The board disclosed that Budd had submitted his resignation from the Board, which will be effective on October 1, 2025. At their upcoming September meeting, the board will determine the manner in which the vacancy will be filled. The reason for the resignation was not disclosed.     Hot Springs Health Foundation is is hosting its annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Saturday, September 13 with tee time at 9 a.m. This is a fun fundraiser to benefit the Hot Springs Health Foundation, whose mission is to support Hot Springs Health and provide quality health and healing to our community.     A community blood drive will be held at the Senior Citizens Center on Monday, Sept. 8 from 2-6 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m.-noon.     For the second year in a row, the Hot Springs County High School Bobcats traveled to Buffalo last week to face off with the Dogies of Newcastle for a week zero clash. Last year the Cats earned a win on the final play of the game, with a touchdown pass to Ryan Arends in the end zone. Teams from all over State of Wyoming were joined by at least four teams from Colorado to face off in the event.
