    Mark Dykes, Editor|Jun 13, 2019

Things are going well with the sheriff’s office, Kraushaar said. There is obviously the normal caseload, he noted, but that will be better when they get fully staffed. The department is currently seeking a patrol deputy an...

  • Tell dad how much he means to you

    Jun 13, 2019

This weekend marks a very special day for millions of men across the world – Father’s Day. Sure, you could go with the same ugly tie or more tools, even stuff for his master grilling on Saturdays, but what do those really say? Your dad was the one who taught you to be silly because he was more than willing to act like a little kid w...

  • Enjoy more than just the day

    Mark Dykes, Editor|Jun 13, 2019

This Sunday marks one of two days throughout the year recognizing our parents, with Father’s Day. It’s the seventh one for me, and I look forward to seeing what my wife and boys have up their sleeves this year. But, special as these days are, both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are only a small recognition of the time, dedication and effort that goes into being a parent.
