    In celebration of Occupational Therapy month, Gottsche Rehabilitation Center invites the public to a free BBQ on Wednesday, April 26. Starting at 11 a.m. you may join the therapy department for a burger or brat and all the fixings.     The Hot Springs County School District #1 Board of Trustees released the average daily absences in each of the schools during their monthly meeting Tuesday night. The data is cumulative from August through March, showing how many days of school were held in each building along with the average number of absences each building showed for the month.   • Dumas found guilty on charges

    Following about three hours of deliberation Wednesday afternoon, a jury found Darren Dumas guilty of strangulation of a household member and domestic battery. The strangulation charge is from Sept. 26, and the battery charge is from Sept. 23-26. The charges state he beat and strangled Christy Dumas.
