    The Lady Cats varsity basketball team had three games this past weekend, splitting their win/loss record among Big Piney, Lyman and Pinedale. Coach Matt McPhie said the girls struggled early against Pinedale and came away with a 59-43 loss. “We dug ourselves a big hole in the first half, due in part to poor shooting and turnovers,” McPhie said.   • Renew your veteran's tax exemption

    Hot Springs County Assessor Daniel Webber announced recently that currently qualified Hot Springs county veterans or their surviving spouse should contact the Assessor’s Office to renew their Veteran’s Exemption for 2020 on their property tax. If the applicant will be using the exemption for vehicle licensing, they will need to stop by the Assessor’s Office when they come to the courthouse to renew their registration.
