    Kent Hessenthaler and his famous sweet corn are in grave danger due to animals destroying his crop and is looking for support from the community. According to Hessenthaler, either deer or antelope have penetrated his corn fields and have been eating his early staged crop.     On July 21 in Fridley, Minnesota at the Minnesota's Strongest Man and Woman Regionals Arnold's Qualifier, Thermopolis' Porshia Birdsley took first place in all 4/4 events winning the 73kg Women's which is 160.4 lbs and under.     Mayor Adam Estenson and the Thermopolis Town Council have passed a resolution for allowing fireworks throughout town only on July 4 from noon to 11 p.m. Mayor Estenson said, “We ask people to use best judgment to avoid areas where sparks and embers can land in dry brush.” The resolution states that fireworks are not permitted in the State Park.     Shannon Lawson and her family have opened the Red Canyon Ranch Bison Store located at 415 Park Street next to Taco John's.
