He leaves behind life partner, Judy Randall; bonus children, John (Neddi) Bolte, Zach (Jamie) Bolte and Sarah Bolte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Darrel Lackey and Ruby Eunice Lackey (Hair); sisters, Sherry Tervo and Kerry (Prissy) DePirro; brothers, Teddy Lackey and Terry (Buster) Lackey; and sister-in-law, Deb Lackey.

Bryan's life was testament to the joy of living fully, loving deeply and laughing heartily.
