Hot Springs State Park is home to a small bison herd. To manage herd size, bids are being accepted for a limited number of animals from the Hot Springs State Park bison herd.
Bids for the acquisition of 18 animals from the state bison herd are invited at the Hot Springs State Park Headquarters Office in Thermopolis until 4 p.m. on December 8.
The available bison include five 2025 heifer calves, ten 2024 bull calves, two 2024 yearling heifers and one 2006 cow.
