Bridge work

Work is ongoing on the Broadway Street bridge, the bridge that connects Thermopolis with East Thermopolis. Work started this week on repairs to the timber bridge in Hot Springs State Park, with repairs scheduled to be complete by July 7. Demolition on the Broadway Street bridge is scheduled to begin at noon, July 7, with the bridge closing at that time. The 2nd Street detour will be used at that time. When finished, a new bridge deck will move people back and forth across the Bighorn River.
