1965-2025
Frederick Quale "Rick" Haworth, 59, was born in 1965 in Billings, Mont., to Henry Huntsman Haworth and Marcia Quale Haworth. He was one of five children and, at the age of five, moved with his family to Thermopolis, Wyo., where he was raised.
Rick pursued his education at ITT Technical Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., where he earned a Radio and Television Broadcasting degree. His broadcasting career began in Syracuse, N. Y., where he worked with various news and radio stations and eventually founded his own company, Haworth Productions.
Later, Rick returned to Wyoming and worked for KTRZ in Riverton for several years. In 2007, he followed his passion for community and cuisine by opening Wyoming Smokehouse, a restaurant that reflected his entrepreneurial drive, his love for people, and his love of good food.
Rick's life was forever changed in 1987 when he came to faith in Jesus Christ while living in Upstate New York. From that point forward, he committed himself to ministry, faithfully serving in fellowships, preaching the Word, and discipling others. In 2013, he launched Faith Bible Radio and the Faith Bible Broadcast Network, an online radio and television ministry that continues to share the Gospel message to this day.
Rick's calling led him beyond borders. In 2015 and 2016, he ministered in Panama, and in 2019, he was called to Africa. He eventually made South Africa his permanent home and base of ministry operations, continuing his mission of spreading the Gospel across the continent.
Rick is the proud father of eight beloved children, whom he cherished deeply. His deepest prayer was that each of them would come to know and serve the perfect Lord Jesus Christ-just as he did, imperfectly yet faithfully. And for those who already walk with Christ, his desire was that they continue steadfastly to the very end.
