Carol Adeline Faith

1944-2024

Carol Adeline Faith, 79, died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness where she had resided the past four years.

Born August 12, 1944, in casper, Wyo., she was one of three children of Clarence U. and Geraldine L. (Wray) Moore, Sr. Growing up in Bonneville, Wyo., she attended school in Shoshoni. She attended Northwest Community College in Powell for a year. Carol started working as a waitress at Hells Half Acre Restaurant. There she met Tom Barker who was a highway construction worker. They later married and had their son, David. A couple years later the couple divorced and Carol moved to Thermopolis.

In Thermopolis she met the love of her life, Emmett “Bud” Faith. Marrying in September 28, 1973, Carol gained daughters Tami, Marlene, and son, Craig. Eventually Bud and Carol welcomed their youngest daughter, Kellie. Carol worked as a waitress for many years before retiring as a housekeeper at the Wyoming Pioneer Home.

Carol enjoyed baking, knitting, fishing with Bud, traveling, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, David (Cynthia) Barker of Worland, Emmett “Craig” Faith of Thermopolis, Tami (Craig) Montgomery of Green River, Marlene (Paul) Gunnett of Riverton, and Kellie Faith of Billings, Mont .; grandchildren Kayleen (Cody) Wilson of Green River, Kenton (Kristina) Tallman of Casper, Kortney (Jon) Zebra of Rawlins, Jeremy Stracke of Perry, Iowa, Kelsie (Tim) Marnin of Billings, Mont., and Daelyn Barker of Casper; and five great-grandchildren, Trenton and Devon Wilson, Kholie, Dacee Zebra and Emmett Marnin.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
