RWE hosts December fundraisers

Ralph Witters Elementary (RWE) has announced opportunities for members of the community to support students and teachers during the Christmas season.

A teacher Christmas tree is located just inside the front entrance of RWE through December 19. Teachers will hang ornaments on the tree with ideas for classroom items they need. Parents, guardians, students and community members may select an ornament from the tree and bring the gift to the office during school hours before December 19.

Another event being planned by RWE is The Annual Christmas Basket Auction which will be held at the RWE Christmas program. Donated items will be on display at the school auditorium on December 14. Bidding for the silent auction will open at 12:30 p.m. The silent auction will end when the concert is over and winners will then be announced. Proceeds go toward purchasing a book for each child at the spring book fair.

If your business would like to participate by providing a Christmas gift basket for the auction, deliver you basket to the RWE front office by December 13.
