Ranch Rodeo planned for July 29

Get your teams ready for a fun time team doctoring, wild cow riding and the hide race.

The Thermopolis FFA Alumni is sponsoring a Ranch Rodeo on Saturday, July 29 with the Calcutta beginning at 4 p.m. and the rodeo starting after at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.

Other events include wild cow milking, trailer loading, and for the kids there will be mutton busting and a cash calf scramble. 

There is a $500 entry fee per team. Teams must include a person over 60, a female or someone under 14. There will be cash prizes and other prizes as well.

Food and refreshments will be available. Tickets for spectators are $5 per person and $1 for children five years old and under. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. 

Proceeds go to support the FFA program with travel expenses for trips, scholarships and more.
