Hot Spot Car Rally

The 30th annual Hot Spot Car Rally is coming to Hot Springs State Park (HSSP) this weekend.

There will be a cruise-in held on Friday, June 16 evening from 4-7 p.m. Participants are asked to meet at the Kiwanis Shelter in HSSP.

The Poker Run will also be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. It starts at the Kiwanis Shelter in Hot Springs State Park and ends at the Senior Center. Raffles will be held at each stop and food available at the Senior Center. Buy in is $10 per hand. Proceeds will go to the Hot Springs County Senior Center building fund.

The Car Show and Shine will be held on Saturday, June 17 in HSSP from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Registration for participants will be from 8 a.m. until noon. Voting closes at 1 p.m. and trophies will be awarded at 4 p.m.

The Rusty Old Truck Market will be held on Saturday next to the car show in HSSP. Vendors will be selling refurbished, rescued, reclaimed, vintage and hand made items.

Pinstriper Cassie Evancich will also be on hand Saturday. Available spots are on a first come, first served basis. Evancich did hand painting on the 1957 Belair Thermopolis Police Car.
