Roy C. Richins

Roy C. Richins, age 85, of Thermopolis, Wyo., passed away peacefully on Monday, February the 27, 2023, at Hot Springs Health of natural causes.

He was born September 26, 1937, to Kenneth and Esther Richins in Ogden, Utah. He married Frances Stephens on September 24, 1960. Their marriage and life was blessed by three sons.

He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1962. Roy retired from Iron Workers Local 27 and the Uinta County Road and Bridge. Roy was a perfectionist who could build anything and enjoyed life to the fullest through simple pleasures; ranching, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Richins; sons, Kendell (Peggy), Steve (Sandy) and Wes (Delsy); 7 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray; and grandson, Josh.

Family and friends may gather May 20 in Fort Bridger at the Legion Hall to celebrate Roy's life.

Cremation has taken place. Mortimore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
