Lady Cats end season at regionals

The varsity Lady Cats finished off their season at the 3A Regional Volleyball Tournament last weekend.

The girls went up against Mountain View and Lander.

Coach Shannon Hill commented,” Every year the inevitable morning after the last match comes. This year as with many years before, I feel like we needed more time, that we weren’t quite finished, that we had so many more gains to make, but unfortunately our season has to come to an end. I truly enjoyed every moment of coaching these amazing athletes and to see them fight with pure grit and determination in our last game on Saturday, never giving up, it was pretty incredible.”

Hill added, “I cannot thank our four seniors enough for the lasting effect they had on our program because they led through example and with a champion mindset on and off the court. All of our girls held each other and themselves accountable this year to help shift our culture and I can’t wait to start next season already. From freshmen all the way to varsity, the improvements were huge and that is due to the hard work and dedication that everyone put in this season. I am looking forward to getting back at it, in like 8 months.”
