Sharon June Fink

Sharon June Fink, 74, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing at her home in Issaquah, Wash. Sharon succumbed to her illness of the past few years with COPD and congestive heart failure.

Sharon was born November 12, 1947, in Laramie, Wyo. She was born to Saul O. Larson and Albert Jene (Spinus) Larson while Saul was attending pharmacy school. She spent most of her childhood in Thermopolis, Wyo., where she graduated from high school in 1965. During this time, she often worked at her parents' place of business, Rexall City Drug. After graduating she eventually met and married Donald L. Fink of Lovell, Wyo. They met in Thermopolis while he was working in construction building the Hot Springs County Library. Don and Sharon married August 27, 1966, at the Community Church in Thermopolis. After marriage Sharon and Don moved to Livingston, Mont., where Sharon attended cosmetology school. They eventually moved back to Thermopolis where Sharon was a cosmetologist for approximately 30 years. Sharon also worked for the Absorka Head Start Program for several years and she received her Associates in Early Childhood Development at this time.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Thermopolis. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a league at this time. In 1989, Sharon and Don moved their family to Issaquah, Wash., where she currently lived. During this time, she was Secretary for the president of Bellevue Community College from 1989-2002. Sharon was a member of the Washington State Auxiliary F.O.E. from 1998-2002 and was Past Madame President in 2007. She was a Life Member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1971.

Sharon is survived by Donald L. Fink of Issaquah, Wash.; children, Donald Scott (wife Cheryl) Fink of Florence, Ariz., and Rhonda Jene (husband Dale) Best of Everett, Wash.; grandchildren, Samuel Fink, Jackson Fink, and Halle Fink, all of Florence, Ariz., Whitney Hoder of Bellingham, Wash., and Natalie Hoder of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sister, Laree Earl of New Hill, N.C.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Larson; parents, Saul and Jene Larson; and sister, Catherine Dragasett.

No memorial services are planned.
