Travis Lee Roberts

Travis Lee Roberts, 49, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September 27, 2022, in Gillette, Wyo.

Born May 10, 1973, in Riverton, Wyo., he was the son of Erwin and Donna Roberts. He attended school to the 8th grade in Shoshoni. The family moved and he attended Hot Springs High School in Thermopolis, Wyo., graduating in 1991. Attending the University of Wyoming he graduated with a Masters Degree in Chemistry, after which he taught Chemistry at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyo. He then pursued an M.D. degree to become a Family Practice Physician through the WWAMI Program. Accepted into the program, Travis studied at the University of Washington School of Medicine earning his M.D. degree.

At the time of his death he was practicing medicine at North East Wyoming Family Medicine in Gillette, Wyo.

Travis loved gardening and landscaping. A very private person, he did kind things for others without wanting recognition. He will be greatly missed by many who truly knew him.

He is survived by his beloved son, Logan Roberts of Olympia, Wash.; sister, Trisha (Jeff) Seifert of Vancouver, Wash.; mother, Donna Roberts of Thermopolis, Wyo.; grandmother, Jessie Lee; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and his 3 lifelong friends of 38 years, Mike, Mark and Dan.

Travis was preceded in death by his father, Erwin Roberts; grandparents, Hersey and Mollie Roberts; and grandfather, Jack Lee. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 10 a.m in Shoshoni, Wyo., at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Thomas of Sovereign Grace Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Shoshoni.

Mortimore Funeral Home in Thermopolis is assisting the family with arrangements.
