Community blood drive scheduled

The Hot Springs County Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring our Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 2-5:45 p.m. at the HSC Senior Center.

Vitalant has provided several more appointments than usual for the drive. If you are interested in donating, please visit vitalant.org to find a time that works into your schedule. You can also call Melene Mierzejewski, the Community Blood Drive coordinator at 307-340-1414 to set up an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Donors are asked to complete their Fasttrack on the day of the drive and bring it with you. You can find the form at vitalant.org/donate/health-history-questionaire.aspx. Also bring your Vitalant Donor card or your driver license.

Remember that each donation has the power to save up to three lives. There is always need for blood and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Every two seconds someone needs blood. All blood types are accepted.
