HSH enters partnership agreement

Hot Springs Health has reached an agreement with HealthTech and Billings Clinic in which the two organizations will provide joint management services for the Wyoming-based 15-bed Critical Access Hospital.

The hospital already had a previous management agreement with HealthTech Management Services, a leading health care consulting and management group. Billings Clinic joining as a joint management partner makes Hot Springs Health the newest affiliate in the region’s largest independent health system.

Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, HealthTech provides financial services, consulting services, supply chain solutions and recruitment services to more than 100 critical access, district, and acute care hospitals nationwide. Their services increase efficiency, reduces redundancies, identifies and eliminates wasted spending.

As the region’s largest health care organization, Billings Clinic brings deep experience in rural health care. Hot Springs Health joins 17 other Billings Clinic affiliates across Montana and Wyoming, including the Wyoming communities of in Basin, Lovell, Powell, Riverton and two clinics in Cody. Affiliation includes the opportunity to be part of Billings Clinic’s integrated electronic medical record, providing efficient and streamlined communication and easy, safe access to information for clinical staff to optimize care for patients. Billings Clinic will also provide support for quality and patient safety, human resources, compliance services, and collaboration to enhance specialty care services locally. These areas of focus are intended to help coordinate care and keep patients close to home whenever possible.
