Michael and Michel Stevens are operating the Tipi Grill in relationship with Hellie's TeePee Pools in the Hot Springs State Park. They opened for business on July 1.
They are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m and are open Sundays noon until close. They plan to keep the business open with these hours until further notice and may change them in the fall.
Regarding how things have been going since they started, Micheal said that this past weekend and on July 4 they were "extremely busy."
The Stevens serve hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, fries and many other items. Some of the returning customers rave about the Tipi Grill's Indian Tacos and their fried bread.
Michael said, "We're grateful to be Thermopolis residents, rather Hot Springs County residents. And we love our community. The reason why we are doing this is, everybody wants to know the why, right? Is it for the money or is it for the whatever? We have ten kids and we're looking to attract our kids to this business. I'm happy to be able to work and have employment here and this opportunity in Thermopolis."
