Judy Evonne Annan

Judy Evonne Annan, 75, died Saturday, May 21, at Hot Springs Health in Thermopolis.

Born April 17, 1947, in Afton, Wyo., she was one of three daughters of Wayne and Evonne (Daniels) Thornton. Judy attended school in Big Piney, Wyo.

On June 1, 1963, she married Larry Keith Annan in Big Piney, Wyo. To this union was born four children. The family lived in various towns throughout Wyoming, including Cody, Shoshoni, Big Piney, LaBarge and Riverton. The couple moved to Thermopolis in 1998.

Judy loved to play cards, crochet, cross stitch and embroidery but she was happiest in building a home where ever Larry took her. Judy was a cook working at several schools and upon moving to Thermopolis, cooked at Hot Springs Memorial Hospital. Her life revolved around her family. She loved phone calls and visits from her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her children, Kenny (Venessa) Annan of Riverton, Wyo., Kelly Jo Burr and Kim (Charlie) Smith, both of Thermopolis; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry (2012); sisters, Cheryl Phillips and Renee Naylor; and her son, Kevin.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Funeral services will be Friday, May 27, 10 a.m. at Mortimore Funeral Home in Thermopolis with Peggy Annan officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton at 2 p.m.
