Food bank donation

Zane Lentsch, Lucas Ramirez, and Beckett Tharp present 200 pounds of deer meat to the local food giveaway at the River of Life Fellowship, accepted by Jeb Schenck. Game Warden Matt Lentsch, Worland, along with 4-H youths, also from Worland, made the donation. The Wyoming Governor's wife started a program called Food from the Field, which allows a hunter to legally donate the meat from their animal to food banks. About 25 deer were harvested recently by participating youths. The game is then examined for potential chronic wasting disease before processing and distribution.
