Chamber Banquet set for October

The 100th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be on Saturday, October 16. This year’s theme is “Hats Off” by Dr. Seuss. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with an “I will drink” No Host Cocktail Hour served by OEB Saloon and at 6:30 we will have a “Woo-ville Feast” catered by Black Bear Catering. Guest Speakers will be Mike and Kathy Gear, New York Times Best-Selling Authors. 

The Chamber will be presenting the 2020 awards.

Business of the Year nominees are Kirby Creek Mercantile, Las Fuentes, One Eyed Buffalo Brewing Company, One Stop Repair & Service Center, Ramshead Financial, Rent Adventure, Ryan Brothers Trucking, Star Plunge and The Shoppe Floral and Gifts. 

Non Profit of the Year nominees are Federated Community Church, Friends of Hot Springs State Park and Legend Rock, Gift of the Waters, H.O.P.E. Agency, Hot Springs State Park, HSC Recreation District, Main Street Thermopolis, Town of Thermopolis, Wyoming Pioneer Home and Wyoming Dinosaur Center. 

Citizen of the Year nominees are Hannah Brooks, Nancy Brown, Judy Carswell, Johnny Dorman, Healthcare & Frontline Workers, Dood Jaussaud, Brian Johnson, Tricia McPhie, Dr. Vernon Miller, Dave Schlager and Greg Willson. 

The Chamber will also be presenting $100 in Chamber Bucks for the best dressed to theme. They will also have auction items available titled with the theme. For example- “If I ran a circus”.
