Janice Dianne Steadman Wingert

Janice Dianne Steadman Wingert, 65, of Thermopolis, Wyo., passed away in her home on July 16, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Jann was born March 13, 1956 in Corvallis, Ore., to James and betty Steadman. Jann grew up in Worland, Wyo., most of her younger life.

Jann met Edward A. Wingert in Thermopolis, Wyo., where they later married in 1987. Ed was the love of her life for 29 years. She enjoyed bowling, camping, board games and spending time with family.

She is survived by her younger brother, Jay (Nan) Steadman; sons , Jay (Debbie) DuVall and Jayson Steadman, all of Thermopolis; daughters, Dawn (Ron Hinijos) Wingert of Thermopolis, Michelle (Roger) Risinger of Paris, Texas, and Chelsea (Jeremy) Case of Tylertown, Miss.; 15 grandkids; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jann is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Betty Steadman; husband, Edward Wingert; older brother, Jim Steadman; son Brett Wingert; and newphew, Aaron Steadman.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 23 at 5 p.m. at Set Free Church, 245 Hwy 120 West in Thermopolis.
