Brewfest set for June 5

Main Street Thermopolis is holding its annual Brewfest event on Saturday, June 5 from 4-8 p.m. between 4th and 5th Streets on Broadway in downtown Thermopolis. It is their main fundraising where the entire community and families can participate. 

The following breweries have signed up to attend the Thermopolis Brewfest:  One Eyed Buffalo Brewing Company-Thermopolis, Smith Alley Brewing Company-Sheridan, WYOld West Brewing Company-Powell, Black Tooth Brewing Company-Sheridan, Snowy Mountain Brewery-Saratoga, Roadhouse Brewery-Jackson, Ten Sleep Brewery-Ten Sleep, Grand Teton Brewing-Victor, Idaho, and Wind River Brewing-Pinedale. 

You can purchase a sampling mug for $25.00 to be used during the event, please make sure to bring your identification.   

Historic Tours will be led by Ray Shaffer at 5 p.m. and the Cornhole Tournament will be at 6 p.m.  Sign ups will be at the Main Street Thermopolis tent. There will be “awesome prizes” for winners.

 Music will be played during the event.  Enjoy the music of Eric Kay, Keith O’Brien and Harold Hutson and Arterial Drive which is out of Bozeman, Montana.

Families with kids and adults can draw or paint on a standing mural. T-shirts are available for sale too. 

Last year’s Brewfest was canceled due to the Covid situation. Main Street Thermopolis is an organization that is making the downtown area improved and sustainable with good economic development along with historic preservation. They are an affiliate community with the Wyoming Main Street Program and all members are volunteers. There is strong sponsorship support from local businesses and vendors pay a nominal fee.

ID’s will be checked for all alcohol purchases and they will offer free courtesy rides as needed. The Thermopolis Police Department will also be present to ensure everyone’s safety.
