No flushing flow from Boysen Reservoir planned

According to Bureau of Reclamation officials, there is no flushing flow from Boysen Dam scheduled for this year because there is not sufficient water to do the flush.

The snowmelt forecast issued in April for Boysen Reservoir showed the predicted Wind River runoff from April through July at 450,000 af, which is 72% of the 30-year average of 621,400 af.

Even with the recent snow storms and accumulation, the runoff will still be below the 30-year average.
