Landon Morris Yetter

Landon Morris Yetter, 83, passed away at his residence in Hot Springs County, September 29, 2020.

One of eight children Morris was born October 17, 1936, in Oshkosh, Neb., to William and Mabel (Baird) Yetter.

On November 17, 1958, he married Barbara Jean Clark in Cody, Wyo. Drafted into the US Army in 1959 he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Following his discharge, he and his brothers owned and operated Yetter Brothers Sawmill for several years. 

Moving to Thermopolis in 1968 he was employed by Canyon Concrete driving truck. Morris then worked for Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital as a maintenance man for nineteen years.

Morris enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping, fishing and playing several string instruments making music.

He is survived by his daughters, Connie Yetter of Thermopolis and Vonnie Reinbold of Rock Springs, Wyo .; grandson, Brandon Yetter; and brothers, George and Skinny Yetter, both of Thermopolis. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara in 2013; and siblings, Forrest, Sam, and Mark Yetter, Mabel Fitzpatrick and Emma Thomas.
