Linda Lou Andreen

Linda Lou Andreen, 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sat., Sept. 5, 2020, at Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness in Thermopolis.

One of four children of Charles and Nola Jordan, she was born in Springfield, Ill., on Feb. 27, 1932. In 1952 she married C.R. Crabtree and raised 5 kids on the family farm in Illinois. She married Martin Andreen on June 2, 1984 in Thermopolis, Wyo. This union made Martin an instant Grampa to Linda's kids.

Linda and Martin established and took pride in operating Andreen's Consignment for 17 years. A member of First Baptist Church, she was also a member of the Thermopolis Chamber of Ambassadors and the Golden Age Club.

She enjoyed crocheting, giving her best effort at her green thumb, spending time in her "she-shed" admiring her collection of garage sale treasures and she enjoyed soaking up the sun on her back porch with a bag of crunchy Cheetos. On various outings, you could find her sporting her ballcap and fashionably extravagant sunglasses.

She was a wonderful wife of 36 years to Martin, amazing mom, beloved grandma and cherished great-grandma.

Linda is survived by her husband, Martin of Thermopolis; sister, Norma Tenuto of Springfield, Ill.; children, Bill (Kristen) Crabtree of Red Lodge, Mont., Gail (Randy) Harmon of Absarokee, Mont., Laura (Dave) Patterson of Thermopolis, David (Judi) Crabtree of Red Lodge, Mont., and Christine (Earnie) Zimdars of Worland; stepson, George Andreen of Evanston; son-in-law, Snuggy Beck of Zebulon, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-gradnchildre.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Jordan, Jr. and Gene Jordan; son-in-law, Kelly Loughlin; and stepdaughter, Polly Beck.

A private family graveside service will be held at Monument Hill Cemetery. A public celebration of life service will be announced at a later date due to current social gathering restrictions.
