Olga Harvey

Olga Harvey of Thermopolis, 99, Wyo., passed away April 1, 2020 just 6 days shy of her 100th birthday. 

Olga was born in Gascoyne, N.D. in 1920. She married Robert (Bob) Harvey in 1940. Bob and Olga raised their seven children on the family farm in the Lucerne Valley. Her life was dedicated to her children and she sacrificed everything for their comfort and well being.  

Olga spent the last four years living with her daughter Lois in Denver. Olga loved walking around the lake at the park and walked a mile 3 or 4 times a week. She got her passport at age 93 and enjoyed five cruises with her family. Olga's hobbies included rock collecting, tending her beautiful rose garden, traveling, and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by brother, John Runestad of Roundup, Mont.; sister, Lillian Andreen of Casper, Wyo.; children, Don of Thermopolis, Marvin of Riverton, Lois of Denver, Colo., Jerry of Fort Collins, Colo., Ken of Thermopolis and Joanie of Denver, Colo.; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandson. 

Olga was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; husband, Bob; son, Duane; and grandson Patrick.  

No services are planned at this time.
