Overview - Support our Bobcats

This is the time of year when many students are playing their last basketball games or putting their all into the wrestling mat for the final time or even making the last speech of their high school careers.

Most will not go on to participate in sports on the college level so these last moments are often bittersweet.

Friday night marks Senior Night for both boys and girls basketball teams, the last night they have to wear the purple and gold on their home court.

Come out and support your Bobcats this weekend.

The Lady Cats have their last home game on Friday starting at 6 p.m. and the boys will have their final hurrah at 7:30 p.m.

The Bobcat wrestlers could use some cheering from their home crowd this weekend, too, as they will be competing for state titles in Casper on both Friday and Saturday.

Your Bobcat speech and debate team will be performing in Riverton this weekend and Worland next weekend. If you haven’t watched them in action these tournaments are close enough to pop over and support them before their State tournament in Green River, March 12-14.

And then there’s Regional basketball in Newcastle, March 5-7 and State in Casper, March 12-14.

All of these young people will sit around a table some day, reminiscing about “the good old days” of their youth, just as we do now. Let’s make their last hours on the court, on the mat and at the podium memories they will never forget.
