Clarification During the first County Commissioner’s meeting of November, county maintenance supervisor Anthony Fruciano stated there were some concerns with the roof of the Hot Springs County Museum. Fruciano meant to refer to the roof of the Hot Springs County Library. Sheriff’s office Wednesday, Nov. 13 9:51 a.m. Report of a citizen dispute in Kirby. The previous owner of a foreclosed property who was hanging around the area was asked to move on. 2 p.m. Report of a possible sex offense is under investigation. Saturday, Nov. 16 12:19 a.m. Officer witnessed a vehicle roll through a stop sign. The driver was found to be driving while her license was suspended. Because of the number of citations the driver had been issued for the offense in the past, Teresa M. Velasquez was arrested for driving while her license is suspended. Police department Tuesday, Nov. 12 5:35 p.m. Report of an assault is under investigation. Thursday, Nov. 14 11:41 a.m. Teresa M. Velasquez was arrested for probation violation. 2:30 p.m. Jose Benito Ocon, 28, and Fernando Moreno Ocon, 30, were arrested for public intoxication after coming to the court house to pay fines while they were intoxicated. 5:54 p.m. Report of trespassing. The offender will be served a trespass notice when he is located. Saturday, Nov. 16 5:02 p.m. Items reportedly taken from a residence. The incident is under investigation. 5:27 p.m. Lawn lights were stolen from a residence. There are no suspects. Extra patrol will be provided. 5:32 p.m. Nathan Thomas, 27, was arrested for violation of bond conditions. Circuit court Charges have been filed against Ronald I. Hoffman for first offence careless driving, interference with a peace officer and failure to give the right of way to an emergency vehicle. Charges have been filed against Colton K. Osborne for hunting,trapping, fishing or collecting antlers or horns on private land without permission.
