Tree festival planned

There will be plenty of holiday greenery with the 19th annual Christmas Tree and Wreath Festival, sponsored this year by Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital and Pinnacle Bank and held at the Thermopolis Community Hall. The fundraiser benefits the Thermopolis Community Fund which provides grants for 4-H projects, the Hot Springs County Library Reading Program, the Yellowstone trip at Ralph Witters Elementary, Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department fireworks, Main Street Thermopolis and much more. Trees will be set up for decorating on Monday, December 2 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Wreaths can be picked up and dropped off at Red Rock Family Practice. The festivities will be on Tuesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with food; 6:30 p.m. marks the start of the auction. Trees and wreaths will be delivered following the auction. To sign up for a tree or wreath, contact Jessyca at Red Rock Family Practice, 864-8208 or John Gibbel at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital, 864-3121.
