Gun club turkey shoot Sunday

The Thermopolis Gun Club will host a turkey shoot at the Bob Milek Memorial Range on Saturday, Nov. 23 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Categories for the shoot include Centerfire Pistol or Rifle and Rimfire Pistol or Rifle, and one turkey will be awarded for the shooter with the best score in each category. There is a $5 entry per squad position, and shooters will have six shots at nine cards placed face down. The best score wins, providing for a competition that combines skill with chance.
