Mailing deadlines

It may only be the middle of November, but deadlines for mailing out those Holiday cards and gifts are quickly approaching with the United States Postal Service.

If you’re shipping within the 48 contiguous states, ground service must be mailed by December 14. First Class mail needs to be at the post office by Dec. 20, Priority mail by Dec. 21 and Priority Mail Express by Dec. 23.

If Alaska or Hawaii are your destination, First Class mail needs to be mailed by Dec. 18 for Alaska and Dec. 19 for Hawaii. Priority Service is Dec. 19 for both destinations and Dec. 21 for Priority Mail Express for both areas.

International mailing dates range from Nov. 30 to Dec. 19, depending where in the world you’re sending your wishes.

Ground service for APO/FPO/DPO AE addresses are past deadline at this time, but other service is available from Nov. 27 through Dec. 18.
