FFA members attend leadership camp

Nine members of Thermopolis FFA are currently attending the FFA Leadership Camp near Lander.

Founded in 1978, the camp is the premier leadership training for Wyoming FFA members as well as those from other states. The camp strives to provide the best leadership training around at an affordable cost.

Originally held in the Ten Sleep Mountains, it found its permanent home in 1993 at the Fremont County Youth Camp.

The Thermopolis attendees have a very full schedule during their week at camp with emphasis on communication and self-awareness.

They have workshops on how to interview, public speaking, dealing with peer pressure and even some fun things like camp fires, Ag Olympics and a banquet and dance to finish off the week.
