Flags will fly on Memorial Day

This Memorial Day marks the fourth year featuring Hawk’s Avenue of Flags at Monument Hill Cemetery, named after Airman 1st Class Donald “Hawk” Hawkins.

This is also the second year the Big Horn Basin Freedom Riders will be in charge of placing the flags at the cemetery on Monday morning, starting at 7 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to place the flags in honor of the veterans that morning and to retire them that evening. If you would like to help with the placing of the flags, meet at the Monument Hill Cemetery.
