Veterans Day ceremony, salute at VFW

Sunday, November 11 marks Veterans Day across the United States.

The day will begin with the placing of Hawk’s Avenue of Flags at Monument Hill Cemetery, beginning at 7 a.m.

The Avenue of Flags was turned over to the Big Horn Basin Riders this year and the group would appreciate any volunteers who would like to help place the flags in the morning and then take them back down before sunset.

The VFW will be holding their annual ceremony and rifle salute in front of the VFW at 11 a.m. and a dinner for veterans will be held at the VFW starting at 6 p.m.
