High selling horse goes for $47,000

JA Sheer Shippin is headed to California after selling for $26,000 at the WYO Quarterhorse Sale.

The 18th Annual WYO Quarter Horse Fall Sale was held at the fairgrounds last weekend, selling more than 80 head of quality horses.

According to Carole Smith, the average price for the 29 broke geldings was $17,224.
