Over $720,000 brought in

Saturday saw the 2018 WYO Quarter Horse Ranch Spring Sale at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. The sale brought in buyers from 22 different states, and a total of $728,260

The high seller for the event was Lot 32, Choice Two Remember, a Buckskin which sold for $32,000 to a buyer from Maryland. Next highest was Lot 21, Two Eyed Partner, a Buckskin which was a half brother to Choice and went for $25,500 to a buyer out of Massachusetts. The high selling two-year-old was Lot 26, Wyo Spark and Shine, a Red Roan which sold for $10,000.

In total, 46 geldings averaging $13,367, nine two-year-olds averaging $5,650, two two-year-old stallions averaging $6,000 and 12 yearlings averaging $3,224 were sold.

The next WYO Quarter Horse Ranch Sale is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8.
