Discovery Center meeting Nov. 10

The Big Horn Basin Nature and Discovery Center Joint Powers Board is hosting a meeting Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. in the County Commissioners room in the County Annex.

The meeting is for a forum regarding the Children’s Nature Discovery Area of the Big Horn Basin Nature and Discovery Center. The center is planned for the area just north of the Chamber of Commerce along Highway 20.

The roundtable discussion will bring all interested partners together to collaborate and generate ideas for the project’s future and direction, and be the groundwork for the project’s direction and focus. It will also allow people an opportunity to think about what children want to have available in the space, what they would use the most and how the discovery area would contribute to our community resources.
